retired pastor from our district, passed away April 3rd.

New
Bridge Coalition
has a $30,000 match grant. Individual-$100; Business- $200;
Churches- $300.

Fremont
is doing a “Restaurant Run” every other week. This is a
fellowship time (and outreach) where the families of the
church meet at a designated restaurant to eat. They
alternate between fast food and family restaurants. There
are no reservations to make (someone does call a couple of
days ahead to let the restaurant know they may be having
between 25-35 people coming in at 6pm) and everyone is
invited. Dutch treat, of course.

Traverse City's newest
church will be called "The Harbor" with Rev. Roger and
Brenda Freed returning to North Michigan District as the
launch pastor. Approval of the church plant was
granted by the General Department of Evangelism and Church
growth, DBA and District Church Multiplication Team.
